"Everything I know about the kind of photography I like has been learned from observation. I have drawn inspiration from the photographers I love that took risks artistically in their work. I pour over coffee table art books of photography and also spend hours looking at international fashion magazines.  I have never finished a formal photography class or thought of it as a potential profession for myself. But over the years, being on set as a makeup artist, teaching myself though trial and error on my own time, and working with incredibly talented photographers in a variety of ways, taught me how to have an eye. Not only did it teach me how to have an eye but through that exploration and observation I taught myself how to use my eye. To show an original perspective on all of the things I see and feel"...
